Prowise revolutionises education market with ultra-wide Windows-powered display

With the launch of the Prowise Touchscreen Max, the Dutch company Prowise is once again setting a new standard in the education market. This cutting-edge ultra-wide display, featuring a 21:9 aspect ratio, runs on a Windows operating system.

Based in Budel, Prowise has been at the forefront of technological innovations in digital learning solutions for years. The introduction of the Prowise Touchscreen Max further solidifies the company’s leading position. After extensive user research, Prowise identified a strong demand for a Windows-based solution in a format matching the dimensions of traditional chalkboards.

Windows-powered digital display

Traditionally, educational touchscreens rely on Android, with Windows only accessible through additional investments in external PC modules or laptops. The Prowise Touchscreen Max changes the game with its built-in Windows 11 operating system, offering full versions of applications like Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint directly to users. Additionally, users have access to applications from both the Microsoft Store and Google Play Store – an industry first.

More workspace at your fingertips
Ease of use was paramount in the decision to adopt the unique 21:9 aspect ratio. The display provides ample space to keep two or three windows open side-by-side, allowing method software, whiteboard tools, and weekly plans to be visible simultaneously. The wide format also ensures that the entire board is accessible without requiring height adjustments, maintaining a natural and ergonomic posture.

AI tailored for education

The Prowise Touchscreen Max also features a range of AI functionalities that users can customise. For instance, the AI assistant, Tessa TeachAssist, can swiftly create complete presentations or lessons on a chosen topic, while users can circle an image to generate similar variations. All AI applications, as well as the hardware and software, are developed in-house by Prowise, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of privacy, security, and safety.

Modular performance options
The standard Prowise Touchscreen Max, equipped with an Intel i3 processor, already outperforms its predecessors. However, the modular design allows users to expand memory and storage. The most powerful option includes an Intel i9 vPro processor with 32 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, and WiFi 7. The OPS 2.0-compliant expandable motherboard ensures the display is future-proof, evolving with the demands of education.

The Prowise Touchscreen Max boasts a 5K panel, 2.1 Dolby-certified soundbar, eight wide-area microphones, two USB-C ports, four pens, 50 touchpoints, and wireless casting capabilities via AirPlay, Chromecast, or Miracast.
