New: Prowise Central 6.1

Prowise Central 6.1 is ready for you! All Prowise touchscreens come with 5 years of free, automatic “over-the-air” (OTA) updates. This means your touchscreen becomes newer and more advanced with every update. After updating your touchscreen to Prowise Central 6.1, you can enjoy a range of new features and improvements.

This update applies to the following series:

• Prowise Touchscreen Ultra
• Prowise Touchscreen Ten (G1, G2, G3)
• Prowise Touchscreen One (G1, G2)
• Prowise Touchscreen (G1, G2)

Note: Some features may not be available on all touchscreens.

What’s new in Central 6.1?

New Apps

• Screen Recording

Easily create video recordings of your screen, with or without sound. Perfect for recording lessons, presentations, or instructional videos that you can share or reuse later.

• Live preview

With the live preview app (picture-in-picture), you can view a device connected to another input channel, such as HDMI or USB-C. This lets you switch directly to the correct channel.

We’ve also added dozens of new (educational) apps to the Prowise Appstore!

Text editor and shape recognition in ProNote
Our whiteboard tool has become much more advanced! The much-requested text editor has been added: you can now add and edit typed text in your files. Additionally, you can now select “shape recognition” to convert your hand-drawn shapes into neat, precise shapes. Also new in ProNote:

• View and add images from local or cloud storage via the file manager
• Stencil tool: draw shapes and lines
• Pressure sensitivity for a passive pen or finger (Prowise Touchscreen Ten G3)

Stream effortlessly with Miracast
We have focused heavily on improving the stability and user-friendliness of Miracast. With this update, you can easily share your Windows device screen with the Prowise touchscreen.

Screencasting – How does it work?

• AirPlay: up to 10 screens simultaneously, audio + video, control via the interactive display using the TouchControl app
• Chromecast: up to 10 screens simultaneously, audio + video, control via the interactive display using the TouchControl app
• Miracast: 1 screen, audio + video, no control via the display
• Prowise Reflect: up to 10 screens simultaneously, video only, control via the display

Prowise Neo Lift compatibility
Control your Prowise Neo Lift system now through the menu in Prowise Central! Move your touchscreen up or down and set your desired presets.

What’s new in Prowise Screen Control?

Remote management is taken to a whole new level! We have added two features to Prowise Screen Control that allow ICT staff to provide even more support to teachers and save loads of time:

Remote control
Does the teacher in the classroom want you to take a quick look at the interactive display? From now on, you can take over the screen of the display in real-time via Prowise Screen Control. Faster support with minimal disruption during the lesson! When taking over the screen, you also gain access to various menus, making it easy to adjust screen settings.

Digital signage
Push a URL in “kiosk mode” to present information on one or more interactive displays – without being present at the display! This turns your touchscreen into an information screen, for example, in the hallway or auditorium.

Also new in Prowise Screen Control:

• Set your own time server
• Push a Wi-Fi password
• Enable or disable specific ProNote features
